Muay Thai is a martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand. It is also known as "the art of eight limbs", as it utilizes the hands, feet, elbows, and knees as striking points.
It is a very popular sport in Thailand, especially in Phuket, where it has a rich history and culture.
In December 2022, I had the opportunity to document a Muay Thai boxing night in Phuket. This project is trying to showcase the beauty and power of this sport and provides a glimpse into the history and culture of the island.
