Raúl is a Spanish-Australian freelance photographer based in Australia, working internationally on a wide range of commissions and personal projects. His work has been featured in Vogue Australia, and his photo series Multiverse was exhibited at the prestigious Head On Photo Festival. One of his images from the Lux Series was a Landscape Finalist and won the People's Choice Award. Shutterstock also named him as one of the "8 Photographers in Australia You Need to Know."
Raúl has collaborated with notable clients such as Camp Quality, OzHarvest, Visit NSW, Philips, Microsoft, Nespresso, and Dyson, among others. His work, characterized by a cinematic aesthetic and strong visual storytelling, reflects his deep love for film and his professional background in advertising. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Design, a Diploma in Photo Imaging, and a Master's in Design.
By blending his expertise in art direction, photography, and design, Raúl creates striking and unique images with a minimalist style. His studio, The Chemistry of Light, was inspired by his grandmother, one of the first female chemistry lecturers at her university. The studio embodies Raúl's passion for learning and his relentless pursuit of innovation.
